The View at Cinebar
Our Private Piece of Paradise
Generations of the Falls
This photo was taken by my Grandfather, Melvin Phillips, in 1980, at the foot of Cinebar Falls. The Phillips Family first settled in the PNW in the 1860's and secured property in the Cinebar Valley in 1884. My family has been exploring these falls for over a century.
It was quite the surprise then, in the spring of 2024, when I was approached by the owners of this incredible property about providing support for their dreams of a wedding venue here. There are extensive and expensive county requirements to providing a public venue, so while we work to build our dream, we want to share with you our journey, our plans, and our paradise.
My personal time is spent with friends and family. I love adventure as much as relaxing in my backyard, where I have a beautiful bald eagles nest and creek front. I provide Day of Coordination and floral installations for weddings and manage the YouTube channel of my parrot, Hercules. Check out these links to follow my path.

Love of the Falls
Ken & Angela Williams had property selected for retiring in Hawaii when they were invited to view a property for sale in Lewis County. One look at the view, and another at the falls changed their entire future. They simply fell in love.
After years in the trades Ken & Angie moved from Seattle to Cinebar, Washington. They planned to build a peaceful retirement when unanticipated health issues, and then Covid, forced early retirement and began to thwart those plans. They are the salt of the earth and continue to work and fight on for that dream while growing local relationships.
Follow us as we trust the journey and pour our blood, sweat, and tears into a future that provides security and peace for our families. We love witnessing our friends fall in love with the view, and the falls, and we hope that we can, one day, offer this incredible experience to all of you. -The Crew at The View

History of the Falls
Cinnabar Falls is the proper and historically recognized name for this waterfall, dating back to at least 1907. Cinebar is a community between the Tilton River and Cinebar Creek, east of Chehalis at the head of Shoestring Valley. It was named for extensive cinnabar ore deposits, containing sulphide of mercury, which were mined in the vicinity for a number of years. When the spelling changed to Cinebar is unknown.
Cinebar Falls is an approximately 100-foot tall, three stepped waterfall found about a mile and a quarter upstream from where Cinebar Creek empties into the Tilton River at the north end of Mayfield Lake. The falls are located entirely on private property and are not accessible to the public - please respect the rights of the land owners and do not attempt to visit without permission.

& the 360°
It's quite surprising that, while you think you see it coming, you still lose your breath when you crest the ridge of our view. Above where the eagles fly and the creek flows is our gorgeous 360° view. It is quintessentially Pacific Northwest.
Our first goal of business is to meet county requirements to bring you here, with your love, for simple elopements against the Cinebar Hills, Tilton River Valley, or the westward setting sun. We embrace this labor of love, as the valley has embraced us, for generations. We hope you dream with us as we grow our relationships and build memories that outlast time.
